OUR MINISTER

Virginia H. “Liz” Leicht is a native Floridian and has lived in Polk County all her life.

After having been raised Baptist, Liz found metaphysical Christianity and has enjoyed being a Truth student for more than 40 years. Her ministry at Unity of Lakeland spans the past two decades.

Liz has a background in banking. She has two children and 2 grandchildren who are the love of her life. She enjoys reading, sewing, walking and cooking.

Liz describes herself as a “spiritual coach.” As such, she works to be present for others with an open, compassionate heart and a clear, receptive mind. That allows support of each individual as the powerful being they are, in the process of discovering their own spiritual strength.

OUR MUSIC MINISTER

Lisa Palas is an award-winning songwriter with several number one hits to her credit.

Her songs have been recorded by the renowned country stars Alabama, Reba McEntire, Randy Travis, Kris Kristofferson, Chris LeDoux, Conway Twitty and The Oak Ridge Boys as well as included in the soundtracks of feature films.

She has also scored musicals on the stage. A featured soloist, Lisa has recorded numerous CD’s of original songs.
